Stensjön

Stensjön is Dellenbygdens FVO’s put and take at Näsviken in Hudiksvall municipality. Rainbow trout is stocked here. A special day permit marked Stensjön – not Stensjöarna further north in the same FVO and not Gula Kortet’s Stensjön in Mölndal. We do not sell the permits.

Species

Planted salmonid is what is fished here. This page is P&T-Stensjön in Dellenbygden, not Stensjöarna with Arctic char and grayling.

Sport fishing from the bank, fly fishing from a float tube, ice jigging on ice according to the map. One outfit per angler. Typical of planted rainbow trout: they can sit along the banks after stocking.

Children under 16 fish on a guardian’s permit in the P&T lakes according to the FVO. Extra permits may be bought when the quota is filled.

Lures and flies

For planted rainbow trout, small spinners, spoons and simple nymphs in olive, black and orange often work. The tips are general for the species and therefore not specific to Stensjön.

Change colour and depth if it is dead for a while. From a float tube you reach drop-offs you cannot reach from a single bank.

When they bite

Stocking is decided by Dellenbygdens FVO. Morning and evening are often nicer than high sun. Check an open P&T permit the same day – the year permit for Dellarna is not enough.

Getting there

The map pin sits on Stensjön at Näsviken, Hudiksvall municipality. Not Stensjöarna in Svågadalen. A physical permit is mentioned in Gammelsträng according to the FVO, plus iFiske. A contact person is found with the permit seller.

Park where the FVO directs. Take rubbish home. The map is a pin, not a parking map.
