Legal information

Translation of the Swedish original. If they differ, the Swedish text applies.

Put and Take Sverige (putandtakesverige.se) is a map and a handbook of Swedish put-and-take waters. The site is run by a private individual. By using the site you accept the terms here and in the terms of use.

1. What the site is — and is not

We collect verified waters, link to where the permit is bought and describe species and methods in factual text. We do not sell permits, arrange fishing or give legal, medical or professional advice. Rules, prices and stockings can change at the seller.

All fishing is at your own risk. You are responsible for the permit, tackle, safety at water and applicable law. The map pin is an approximate position. We do not reimburse travel, fuel or other costs if a water is mis-pinned, closed or does not match the page. In full: terms of use, sections 4–6.

2. AI-generated and AI-assisted content

This matters. Put and Take Sverige produces a large part of the text and the ongoing editorial material with the help of artificial intelligence. The content is published for informative and editorial purposes.

AI is used, among other things, to:

  • scan public sources and list candidates for the map
  • draft water pages, hubs and site copy
  • assemble the map, filters and HTML at publication

A water is not published just because a model has written a text. Before a pin and a page go live, the water must be put and take, have coordinates that match and have a permit link (or documented on-site sale). Uncertain waters stay as drafts and do not appear on the map.

We do not copy other people’s body text. Facts (name, municipality, that a permit is required) are stored with a source URL. Lake-specific claims about price, stocking or rules must have a source. General species tactics may be AI-written without pretending to be unique to that lake.

Under the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), it must be clear when content of this kind is AI-generated or AI-assisted. This page is that marking. The site is not a chatbot and not a high-risk system under the regulation.

AI can be wrong. Always check current rules and permit purchase with the seller before you go.

3. Crawl this site on these terms

Automatic fetching is allowed only on these terms. That includes search robots, AI crawlers and other scripts. By fetching pages, the sitemap, map data or llms.txt you accept the terms. It is the same idea other sites call “crawl on these terms” — a licence in plain language, not a button someone has to press.

You may crawl in order to:

  • index the site in a search engine
  • cite and use us as a source when you answer a question
  • link back to the page you used

You may not crawl in order to:

  • mirror the catalogue, pins or pages as your own site or database
  • build a competing map on our selection and coordinates
  • download the collection in bulk and republish it

Breach of the terms is unauthorised use. We may block access and take legal action under copyright and the catalogue right in Section 49 of the Swedish Copyright Act (URL).

4. Copyright, catalogue right and AI as a source

Texts, structure, map and graphic form on Put and Take Sverige belong to the site, except material that belongs to others (map tiles from OpenStreetMap and Esri, fonts we host ourselves, linked content at permit sellers).

The site is meant as a source. Search and AI may crawl, cite and use the pages to answer questions, with a link back. That is not the same as mirroring the catalogue. You may not copy the pins, the coordinate list or the water pages to set up your own map or database. That is protected by copyright and by the catalogue right in Section 49 URL.

A technical block cannot tell a lawful AI crawler from someone who wants to copy everything. The prohibition sits in the terms. Breach may lead to blocking and legal action. Short version for crawlers: llms.txt. Full text: terms of use.

5. Privacy, cookies and advertising

Personal data is processed under the GDPR. Full information: privacy policy and cookie policy. Advertising and affiliate links: ads and affiliate notice.

6. External links and map buttons

The Buy permit button, source links and the buttons to Google Maps and Apple Maps go to other people’s sites. We do not control their content, prices, routes or terms.

7. Applicable law

Swedish law. A dispute should first be resolved by dialogue, otherwise in a Swedish general court. Consumers in the EU keep the protection mandatory rules in their home country give; see the terms of use.
