Lillsjön

Lillsjön is put and take in Upplands-Bro municipality, at Kungsängen. Kungsängens sportfiskeklubb has stocked rainbow trout in Lillsjön since 2010 according to the club. The seller marks the area as put and take. We do not sell the permits — day permits and membership are bought via the permit seller.

Species

Planted rainbow trout is why this is put and take. The same lake also holds pike, perch and coarse fish. This page is Lillsjön in the Lillsjön–Örnässjön nature reserve at Sylta, not the other Lillsjön further north in the same municipality and not Örnässjön, which the club describes without rainbow stocking.

One rod per permit according to the club. Catches must be reported according to their instructions. In a park setting near swimming and jogging tracks you fish from the bank or a hired club boat — but not at the bathing place. Rainbow trout take lure, bait and fly, and often sit along the edges after a stocking.

Lures and flies

Small spinners, spoons and a nymph are a common start against stocked rainbow trout. The tips are general.

When they bite

Stocking is decided by the club. Park setting with jogging tracks and swimming — early morning is often quieter. Stocked rainbow trout are liveliest in cool water and just after a refill, and they usually bite best at dawn and dusk. In a well-visited park, early morning is often both the calmest and the fishiest. Check an open permit with the seller.

Getting there

The map pin sits at Lillsjön at Sylta in Upplands-Bro, not at Örnässjön. Park where it is signed. Not a Lillsjön in another municipality.

The club calls Lillsjön park fishing: jogging tracks, swimming and frisbee nearby. That does not mean you may cast from the bathing beach. Keep the distance the signs state. Since 2010 the club stocks rainbow trout at a stated average weight. Weight varies between stockings — check the latest info with the seller, not in an old report.
