Species
Stocked salmonids are what you fish here. This page is Torrbergstjärnen west of Piteå. Salmonids according to the association, not a municipal free water.
Planted brown trout and Arctic char can take close to the bank after stocking and then sit deeper. Typical of that kind of tarn.
Fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing
Fly, spin and bait fishing. Ice jigging when the ice carries. Two rods per permit according to the association. Check the quota with the permit seller the same day.
Swish according to the association’s page, or a physical permit at OK in Roknäs. Not iFiske.
Lures and flies
Small spoons and spinners in silver, white or orange are a common start where spinning is allowed. On fly: nymph, pupa and streamer. The tips are general for fishing stocked salmonids.
Fish a spot properly.
When they bite
Morning and evening are often best. In warmer water the fish often seek depth in the middle of the day. Stocking is decided by whoever manages the water. Check season and ice with the permit seller.
