Skräcklagölen

Skräcklagölen is put and take in Bottnaryd, Jönköping municipality, with planted rainbow trout. It lies in the same ridge area as Mörtesjön and Abborragölen. The village association has historically hired the göl out in summer and sold day permits in winter. iFiske sells in 2026 an A-permit that also names Skräcklagölen – read what is actually included the day you go.

Species

Rainbow trout is stocked. It is not the C-permit’s pike lakes. A hire setup with extra stocking occurs according to the village association; it is still planted salmonid, but the product can be a day permit or a booked göl depending on season.

Fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing

When a day permit applies, the village association has pointed to the same tackle as Abborragölen: any hand rod, one rod. We mark fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing from that. Hire days can have other terms.

We do not set family-friendly automatically. Parking and ridge exist in the area, but the summer hire means “open pond for the family” does not always hold.

Lures and flies

The same general pond tactics as in the neighbouring lakes: small spinners and nymphs toward rainbow trout. No lake-unique recipe.

When they bite

Season and premiere are decided by the village association. We do not copy hire prices or winter windows that can move.

Getting there

The coordinate is Skräcklagölen at Bottnaryd, north of Abborragölen. The same approach toward Mörtsjöåsen. Buy via iFiske or ask the village association if the day is hire.

Rules

Always check the current rules with the permit seller. If the iFiske permit does not apply that day it is hire or closed – do not guess.

Buy the permit before you cast. We do not sell it. Rules, quota and whether fish may be taken home are with the seller and can change.
