How put and take works in Tidaholm

Almost all put-and-take fishing in Tidaholm is on Hökensås, where Hökensås Sportfiske runs a dense network of lakes and ponds inside the nature reserve. The lakes are colour-coded: yellow lakes allow fly, spin and bait fishing, red lakes are fly-only and allow float tubes with fins, and blue lakes are fly waters with a catch quota where you book your spot in advance.

Ibbesjön is the closest to the fishing centre, and Rödsjön has rowing boats for hire. Baltak on the river Tidan is something else entirely – running water, fly fishing only, four zones and its own permit. The Hökensås lake permit is not valid in Baltak, nor in Tiveden.
