Oxsjön

Oxsjön is Gula Kortet in Göteborg municipality, at Hovås. Sportfiskarna stocks rainbow trout at times in certain permit waters. It is not the same dense stocking as Stora Mölnesjön. Not Sisjön to the north. We do not sell the permits.

Species

Planted rainbow trout is the PAT reason when it is stocked. The rest of the time it is an ordinary permit water. This page is Oxsjön at Hovås, not Sisjön and not the Delsjöarna.

Check the seller the same season. Typical of stocked rainbow trout: they can take along the edges after a planting.

Here: fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing unless Gula Kortet says otherwise. Young people under 16 fish free according to the seller, with the same gear rules.

Stocking is decided by Sportfiskarna and is periodic, often spring or autumn around events. Check the guide before you go specifically for rainbow trout.

The map pin sits at Oxsjön, Hovås. Not Sisjön and not Billdal’s woods further in. Park where it is marked.
