Kulagölen

Kulagölen is a put-and-take tarn in Tingsryd municipality. Rainbow trout is stocked here. Tingsryd Resort calls it Regnbågsforellsjön. The permit is bought in the resort reception, not via iFiske like other lakes in the municipality.

Species

Rainbow trout is the main species. The facility describes put and take with fishing from about ten jetties. This page is Kulagölen, not Tiken and not Mörrumsån.

Rainbow trout in a tarn can take from a jetty. After a stocking it can sit tight. Walk the last stretch quietly.

Fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing

The reception page does not state a method ban. Count on fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing until the seller says otherwise. One rod unless the notice says otherwise.

The permit is sold in Tingsryd Resort’s reception. Buy it before you fish.

Lures and flies

Small spoons and spinners in silver, white or orange are a common start. On fly: a nymph. The tips are general for rainbow trout in tarns.

Fish a jetty properly.

When they bite

Morning and evening are often best. Stocking is decided by whoever sells the permit.

Getting there

The map pin is the named tarn Kulagölen, marked as fishing, Tingsryd municipality, at Flisehult. Drive toward G 787. Permit in reception at Tingsryd Resort, not at the tarn.

Rules

Always check the current rules with the permit seller. The permit is personal. Quota and season belong there and they change.

Look at the map and the signs at the water before you start. Names can recur in other municipalities. The permit you bought should match this lake. Give space if someone is already at the water. Take your rubbish home. Park so rescue and other guests can get through.
