Abborrtjärn

Abborrtjärn is put and take in Robertsfors municipality, at Risvattnet between Kålaboda and Flarken. The municipality lists the tarn among its salmonid waters and names brown trout as the stock. Not Kålabodaån, which has wild stream brown trout and is not put and take.

Species

Brown trout is the main species. The municipality overview mentions brown trout and rainbow trout for the put-and-take lakes as a group, but for this tarn it names brown trout. Not Hakatjärn in Estersmark and not Jomarkstjärn.

Stocked brown trout in a forest tarn often go along edges and jetties. After stocking they can pack tight. Walk the last stretch carefully.
