Södra Ånnabosjön

Södra Ånnabosjön is put and take in Örebro municipality, at Ånnaboda in Kilsbergen. The municipality stocks rainbow trout regularly during the warm part of the year. A paved loop around the lake and two accessible jetties. See family-friendly. We do not sell the permits.

Species

The municipality calls the lake its only water with stocking of rainbow trout. Stocking during the warm season, not a promise every week year round. Typical of planted rainbow trout: they can take from a jetty after stocking.

Fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing

Here: fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing as long as the municipality’s permit does not say otherwise. Boat motors are not allowed according to the permit page. Children under 12 on a guardian’s permit.

The lake lies in a nature reserve. A bathing place and a dog swim exist around the lake – bathers have priority where it is signed. Ban zones 2026 are mentioned with the seller.

Lures and flies

Small spinners, spoons and simple nymphs toward planted rainbow trout. General species tactics and therefore not specific to Södra Ånnabosjön.

When they bite

Stocking is decided by the municipality and happens during the warm part of the year. Check an open permit and zones the same day you go.

Planted rainbow trout are liveliest in cool water and just after a refill, and usually bite best at dawn and dusk. Stocking happens during the warm part of the year, not every week year round.
