Orrtjärn

Orrtjärn is one of Kilsbergen Sportfiske’s put-and-take tarns at Villingsberg, Lekeberg municipality. Rainbow trout is stocked here. The tarn is a family lake: fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing are allowed. The same salmonid permit covers the other named lakes in Villingsberg and Karlsdal.

Species

Rainbow trout is the main species. Kedjeåsens Fisk calls the waters put and take. This page is Orrtjärn, not Sörämten and not Trehörningen.

Rainbow trout in a small forest tarn often sit along the edges. After a stocking they can sit tight.

Fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing

Family lake: fly, spin, baitcasting and bait. One rod per permit. The fly lakes next door have other rules. A wind shelter is mentioned at the tarn.

The permit is sold digitally. Buy it before you fish.

Lures and flies

Small spoons and spinners in silver, white or orange are a common start. On fly: nymph. The tips are general for rainbow trout in a tarn.

When they bite

Morning and evening are often best. Stocking is decided by Kilsbergen Sportfiske. Winter fishing applies to the family lakes, not the fly lakes.

On iFiske: choose Kilsbergen Sportfiske Ädelfiske, not the natural-water permit.

Always check the current rules with the permit seller. The permit is personal. Quota and season belong to the site and they change.

Give way if someone is already on the jetty or boardwalk. Take the rubbish with you.
