Nävsjön is Nävsjöns Sportfiske’s put-and-take water in Nyköping municipality. Rainbow trout is stocked here. Fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing are allowed. The association stocks large rainbow trout in the ice-free season. Permits in a machine or by Swish at the northern car park. The north shore has gravelled paths.
Species
Planted salmonids are what you fish here. This page is Nävsjön on the Östergötland border, not other Nävsjöar.
Rainbow trout and other planted salmonids can take close to the bank after a stocking and then sit deeper. Typical of that kind of water.
Fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing
Fly, spin and bait. Boats are hired by the association against a valid permit. Echo sounder is banned. Check with the permit seller the same day.
The permit is bought in a machine at the large car park, north end, cash or Swish. Not iFiske.
Lures and flies
Small spoons and spinners in silver, white or orange are a common start where spin is allowed. On fly: nymph, pupa and streamer. The tips are general for fishing after planted salmonids.
Fish a spot properly.
When they bite
Morning and evening are often best. In warmer water the fish often seek deeper in the middle of the day. Stocking is decided by the manager. Check season and ice with the permit seller.
Getting there
The map pin is the named lake Nävsjön in Nyköping municipality, about 19 kilometres southwest of Nyköping. Park at the north end according to the association.
Buy the permit according to the link on the page, before you cast.
Rules
Always check the current rules with the permit seller. The permit is personal. Quota and season belong to the seller and they change.
Give way if someone is already on the jetty or boardwalk. Take the rubbish with you.
Stocking and opening hours can change. Check current times and rules with the permit seller before you go.
Park so that rescue and other guests can get through. Follow signs at the water, not only the map pin.
The permit applies to this water, not the whole area. If the lake is closed for stocking it shows with the seller.
