Långa Acksjön

Långa Acksjön is Södertälje Amatörfiskeklubb’s put-and-take water in Södertälje municipality. Rainbow trout and brown trout are stocked here. Only fly fishing. Spin fishing and bait fishing are not included. The club calls the lakes put and take. In this lake there are also perch and pike, but it is the salmonids you fish here. The same day permit as Lilla Acksjön.

Species

Stocked salmonids are what you fish here. This page is Långa Acksjön, not Lilla Acksjön northward on the same path.

Rainbow trout and other stocked salmonids can take close to the bank after a stocking and then sit deeper. Typical of that kind of water.

Fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing

Fly fishing only with fly rod, fly line and flies. Spin fishing and bait fishing are not included. Fishing from the bank in the ice-free season.

The permit is sold digitally and applies to both Acksjöarna. A walk from the car park at Skabro.

Lures and flies

On fly: nymph, pupa and streamer. The tips are general for fishing stocked salmonids. Leave the spinning rod in the car.

Fish a spot properly.

When they bite

Morning and evening are often best. In warmer water the fish often look for depth in the middle of the day. Stocking is decided by whoever manages the water. Check season and ice with the permit seller.

Getting there

The map pin is the named lake Långa Acksjön, Enhörna, Södertälje, just south of Lilla Acksjön. Humus-coloured water according to the club.

Rules

Always check the current rules with the permit seller. The permit is personal. Quota and season belong to the seller and they change.

Give space if someone is already on the jetty or boardwalk. Take your rubbish home. If the lake is closed for stocking it shows with the seller. Park so rescue and other guests can get through. Follow signs at the water, not only the map pin.
