Lilla Skiren

For stocked rainbow trout, small spinners, spoons and simple nymphs in olive, black and orange often work. On fly, a nymph or a simple streamer is enough to start. The tips are general for the species, not specific to Lilla Skiren.

Change colour and depth if it is dead for a while. After a stocking they can take near the surface; later they often want a slower presentation.

When they bite

Stocking is decided by the manager. Morning and evening are often nicer than high sun on a small forest water. Spring and autumn are often pleasant. Check an open permit and ice with the seller before you go.
