Bengtgölen is Glotternsjöarnas FVO’s put-and-take tarn in Norrköping municipality. Rainbow trout is stocked here. Fly fishing and spin fishing are allowed. Ordinary Glottern permits do not apply in this tarn.
Species
Rainbow trout is the main species, in a small tarn. This page is Bengtgölen, not Nedre and Övre Glottern. Because only fly and spin are allowed, and boats are not, you fish from the bank around the tarn. The fish often circulate along the edges and at the jetties after a stocking. A special day permit marked Bengtgölen is required — ordinary Glottern permits do not apply here.
Walk the last stretch quietly.
Fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing
Allowed here: fly fishing and spin fishing. One rod unless the seller says otherwise. Boats are not allowed. A special day permit for Bengtgölen is required.
The permit is sold digitally. Buy it before you stand at the water.
Lures and flies
Small spoons and spinners in silver, white or orange are a common start where spinning is allowed. On fly: nymph, pupa and streamer. The tips are general for rainbow trout in a tarn.
Fish one spot properly before you change.
When they bite
Morning and evening are often best. Stocking is decided by whoever manages the water. Check season and ice with the permit seller.
Stocked rainbow trout are liveliest in cool water and just after a stocking, and usually bite best at dawn and dusk. In strong summer sun they can go slow and seek depth in the middle of the day.
Getting there
The map pin is the named tarn Bengtgölen, Kvillinge, Norrköping. Drive road 55 north toward Katrineholm and turn toward Glotternskogen.
With the seller: choose the permit marked Bengtsgölen, not an ordinary day permit.
Rules
Always check the current rules with the permit seller. The permit is personal. Quota and season belong to the seller and they change.
Give space if someone is already on the jetty or boardwalk. Take your rubbish home. Park so rescue and other guests can get through. Follow signs at the water, not only the map pin.
