Lilla Hällesjön

Lilla Hällesjön is Fliseryds Sportfiskeklubb’s put-and-take lake in Mönsterås municipality. Rainbow trout is stocked here regularly. Only fly fishing with fly rod and fly line. Stora Hällesjön next to it has other methods. Emån and the natural lakes Skiren and Försjö are not this permit.

Species

Rainbow trout is the main species. The club calls the Hällesjöarna put and take. This page is Lilla Hällesjön, not Stora.

Rainbow trout in a forest lake can take from the bank and a float tube. After a stocking it can sit tight. Walk the last stretch quietly.

Fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing

Only fly fishing. Spin fishing and bait fishing are not included here. Float tube is allowed according to the club. Ice fishing is not allowed. One rod.

The permit is Hällesjöarna’s own, not the Emån permit. Membership can be required for some season permits. Read iFiske the same day.

Lures and flies

On fly: nymph, pupa and streamer. The tips are general for rainbow trout in lakes. Leave the spinning rod in the car.

Fish a bank properly.

When they bite

Morning and evening are often best. Stocking is decided by the club. Check with the permit seller for season.

Getting there

The map pin sits at Lilla Hällesjö at Fliseryd, Mönsterås municipality. Drive toward Fliseryd. Take the club’s map so you do not end up in Emån.

On iFiske: choose Hällesjöarna, not Emån and the lakes.

Rules

Always check the current rules with the permit seller. The permit is personal. Quota and season belong to the club and they change.

Look at the map and the signs at the water before you start. Names can recur in other municipalities. The permit you bought should match this lake. Give space if someone is already at the water. Take your rubbish home. If the lake is closed for stocking it shows with the seller. Park so rescue and other guests can get through.
