Lima FVOF
Lima fiskevårdsområde sits in Malung-Sälen municipality, Dalarna, from Lima in the south up toward Rörbäcksnäs and the western Sälen mountains. It borders Transtrands FVOF. Tisjön, Västerdalälven and around a hundred tarns belong to the area permit. Put and take is three named ponds with their own day permit. Three special waters have their own hatchery for Arctic char and brown trout.
You pick the tarn at the till for P&T. A Mobergstjärn permit does not cover Skärtjärn. This is not Transtrand, where one area permit covers several stocked waters.
Put and take and the special waters
- Put and take – Mobergstjärn and Skärtjärn at Rörbäcksnäs, Gråhedsdammen at Kläppen. A day permit per tarn, 07:00–19:00. Rainbow trout in all three.
- Special waters – Digerbergstjärn, Stora Efretjärn and Torrvedstjärn. Arctic char and brown trout. They close ahead of stocking toward the ice opening on the first Saturday in December. Not the P&T day permit.
- Other waters – Tisjön, trolling, the river. Other permits. No pages here.
The club hatches its own fish and stocks catchable salmonids.
The permit and the tackle
The P&T permit is personal and marked with the tarn. Buy it before you fish. Three fish. One rod. Children through twelve fish on a guardian’s permit and bag. Validity sits with the seller.
Fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing when the permit allows. Times on the special waters move around stocking. Read the seller.
Practical
Mobergstjärn and Skärtjärn sit close to each other at Rörbäcksnäs. Gråhedsdammen sits at Kläppen and road 66, a stretch to the east. The special waters are spread out. Take the club map. Park where it is signed. Take your rubbish with you.
Another Dalarna area with its own P&T, but an area permit instead of a lake-marked day permit, is Transtrands FVOF.
