How put and take works in Orsa
In Orsa two managers share the waters. Orsa FVOF has five put-and-take waters – including Lintjärn, Östra Rädsjön and Skrattabborrtjärn – with their own day permits, separate from the permits for Lake Orsasjön. Orsa Besparingsskog has ponds with Finnish names, such as Oravalampi, Karsilampi and Piispanlampi, where each water needs its own permit.
The Juckaslamm ponds in the Besparingsskog area are closed until further notice. Arctic char and brown trout dominate, and Pållasnitytjärnarna are several char ponds on one shared permit.
