Norra Liksjötjärn

Norra Liksjötjärn is Dalby FVOF’s put-and-take water in Torsby municipality. Rainbow trout is stocked here in the summer season. Fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing according to the P&T permit. Klarälven and the brooks are other permits. A jetty with regard to wheelchairs according to the association.

Species

Rainbow trout is the main species. The FVOF calls the tarn put and take. The map may write Norra Liksjötjärnen. This page is that tarn, not Norra Liksjön next to it.

Rainbow trout can take from the jetty and fishing places around the tarn. After a stocking they can sit tight. Walk the last bit quietly.

Fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing

The P&T permit covers only Norra Liksjötjärn. Allowed until the seller says otherwise: fly fishing, spin fishing, bait fishing. One rod. Boat motors are not allowed according to iFiske.

The permit is sold via iFiske Dalby FVOF. Buy Put&Take, not only the natural-water permit.

Lures and flies

Small spoons and spinners in silver, white or orange are a common start. On fly: nymph. The tips are general for rainbow trout in a tarn.

Fish a spot properly.

When they bite

Morning and evening are often best. The FVOF describes stocking from late May to late August. Check with the permit seller the same year.

The map pin is the named tarn Norra Liksjötjärnen in Torsby municipality, Dalby. Drive toward Klarälvdalen. Barbecue sites exist according to the association.

Rules

Always check the current rules with the permit seller. The permit is personal. Quota and season belong to the FVOF and they change.

The lake is marked as family-friendly with an accessible jetty. That does not replace watching children at cold water.

Look at the map and the signs at the water before you start. The permit you bought should match this lake.

Give way if someone is already at the water. Take the rubbish with you.

Stocking and opening hours can change. Check current times and rules with the permit seller before you go.

Park so that rescue and other guests can get through. Follow signs at the water, not only the map pin.

The permit applies to this water, not the whole area. If the lake is closed for stocking it shows with the seller.
