Lindenborgssjön

Lindenborgssjön is put and take in Karlshamn municipality. The municipality stocks rainbow trout. Same day permit as the Kroksjöarna, but the lake sits in another part of the municipality. The municipality also writes Lindeborgssjön. We do not sell the permits — buy via the permit seller.

Species

Rainbow trout is the main species, stocked several times per season — about 1 350 kg in the whole area. Perch and pike are mentioned as common species but are not why you buy the salmonid permit. With several jetties and a bathing-lake setting it is a comfortable fishery for families as well — see more family-friendly waters.

Electric motors are allowed in the area, not petrol motors, so you can troll quietly or fish from the bank. This page is Lindenborgssjön, not other waters in the same area where pike or perch can be the main draw.

Lures and flies

For stocked rainbow trout, small spinners, spoons and simple nymphs in olive, black and orange often work when the water is stained. A streamer when they hunt. General species tactics, not a recipe unique to Lindenborgssjön.

When they bite

Stocking is decided by the manager. Morning and evening are often nicer than high sun. Stocked rainbow trout are liveliest in cool water and just after a refill, and they usually bite best at dawn and dusk. In strong summer sun they can go slow and seek depth, where an electric motor helps you cover water. Check an open permit, ice and the latest stocking with the seller before you go.

Getting there

Not at Långasjönäs where the Kroksjöarna sit. The pin is the municipality’s Lindenborgssjön marker. Jogging tracks and roads around the lake. Park where it is signed, not on private land. Fires only on prepared sites unless there is a fire ban.
