Klapperudstjärn is put and take in Torsby municipality, Östmarks FVOF’s named salmonid water. In the area you fish among other things rainbow trout and brown trout; this tarn is the one pointed out for put and take. It is Östmark, not Pägertjärn in Lekvattnet. Permits are bought in person at ICA Östmarks Handel — there is no iFiske permit for this tarn specifically.
Species
The main species we mark is rainbow trout, the usual P&T species. The fishery association also mentions brown trout, pike, zander and perch in lakes and streams around Östmark. The large lakes are other waters.
Small forest tarn: stocked fish often sit close to the bank after a refill.
Fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing
The methods we filter on are fly fishing, spin fishing and bait fishing. In rivers and streams in the same area there is a fishing ban 1 September–31 December; that is not this tarn. Current tackle and quota are where you buy the permit.
Lures and flies
Small spoons and spinners in silver, white or orange are a common start for stocked rainbow trout. On fly: nymph, pupa and a simple streamer. Scent baits can be banned — ask in the shop. The tips are general for this kind of fishing.
When they bite
Stocked salmonids are liveliest in cool water and just after a stocking. Dawn and dusk often beat high sun. When the last stocking was, you get from the seller.
Getting there
Östmarks socken, Torsby municipality, westward in the municipality. The map pin points at Klapperudstjärn, not at Kläggen, Bollsjön or Pägertjärn. Buy the permit in Östmark at ICA Östmarks Handel before you drive out. Park where it is signed.
Rules
Always check the current rules where you buy the permit. The permit is personal. Quota, season and what applies for children change. The fishing ban in rivers and streams 1 September–31 December applies to running water in the area, not as a figure we copy onto the tarn.
