Grangärde Fiske put and take

Put and take at Grangärde Fiske is five named waters in Ludvika municipality, Dalarna. They do not sit in a ring around a reception. Övre Hedtjärn and Sottjärn share a camp five kilometres north of Nyhammar. Tanstjärn sits north-east. Ljustjärn to the north. Gåltjärn to the south toward Grangärde.

The membership card is not enough. You buy a special P&T permit. Hedtjärn and Sottjärn are the same slip. The other three are their own purchases, with caps on the number of permits per day.

Fly lake

Sottjärn is the list’s fly lake. Fly fishing with fly rod, fly line and an artificial fly. Not spin fishing and not bait fishing. The same day permit as Övre Hedtjärn, and the same camp rule.

The other P&T ponds

Fly fishing where the club allows it, plus spin fishing and bait fishing on Övre Hedtjärn, Tanstjärn, Ljustjärn and Gåltjärn when day permits are sold. One rod. Bag of three rainbow trout or Arctic char.

Övre Hedtjärn is the camp’s spin and bait pond, with a jetty. The permit is counted 24 hours from purchase and covers a pitch at the camp.

Tanstjärn has a cap of ten permits per calendar day. Ljustjärn is a three-hectare pond with a cap of six permits, and it can be hired. It is not Sveaskog’s Ljustjärn in Malingsbo-Kloten. Gåltjärn has a cap of ten permits and sits clearly south of the Nyhammar camp; it is not Igeltjärn.

Hire and winter

When a pond is hired only those who booked fish. Ljustjärn is named as a hire pond over a weekend. Kytjärn, Igeltjärn and Knivsjön can be closed when hired; they are not the five P&T pages.

Hedtjärn–Sottjärn and Tanstjärn close in early winter. Ice premiere and opening times sit with the seller.

Rules for the whole of Grangärde, membership and FVOF sit under Grangärde Fiske.
