How put and take works in Sundsvall
Sundsvall's put-and-take waters are spread across the municipality. Near Stöde, Stödebygdens FVO has four trout waters – Hammarsjön, Mycksjön, Frambodatjärn and Skiftestjärn – on the stocked-waters permit, which is not the cheaper unstocked permit. In Liden, Lögdö Wild has several rainbow trout ponds on one shared day permit.
Closer to town are Ängomstjärnen at Matfors with jetties around the pond, Lilla Åstjärn in Njurunda and Östtjärn south of Sundsvall, a larger pond with ice fishing. Skälsjötjärn in Lögdö has a widened path and a wheelchair-accessible jetty.
