Fly, spin or bait?
All three are used in put and take. Which is allowed stands in the water’s rules, not in a general “Sweden rule”. A tarn can be fly only. Another pond allows spin and bait but not fly. We set a method on the page when the source is clear.
Fly fishing
Common in smaller waters and stocked stretches. Check barbs, indicators and whether fly only applies. General tactics — nymph, streamer, dry — are not unique to one lake. Waters with fly.
Spin fishing
What most recreational anglers bring: spinners, spoons and small wobblers for rainbow and brown trout. In ponds short casts along the bank often suffice. Waters with spin.
Bait fishing
The way in for many beginners and children. Bait and tackle are local — follow the seller, not an old forum. Waters with bait.
We do not mark a method because it “surely works”. Filter the map or start from methods. Species: rainbow or brown trout.
